Having been searching for a casual tote bag for the summer for quite some time, I was rather delighted when I found this Sandqvist tote at Zoovillage for only 39 Euros. Thinking I would like to use it with the more street and very casual combinations, something like a polo shirt and shorts, I went for the khaki option available. Ever since getting my Scotch Grain Meermin double monks I've been thinking of getting another pair that would be more fit for summer. As I'm a big fan of the Hiro last and very much like the shade of brown Meermin is offering, the decision wasn't too difficult. The leather feels quite soft and I'm eager to see how this pair will age. Overall there isn't much to say about the model as it is a pretty basic double monk strap shoe with a leather sole. Read on and you will see a transformation that a pair of my own will go through. After and before. 1. You need a chunk of Marseille soap, a hard or medium toothbrush and a silicon-free suede spray. Go for Saphir, but companies like Allen Edmonds offer a good and cheap alternative. You can use neutral or colored spray, but make sure the color is right or go with neutral.
